    Default Bilge Sweetener with Playgrounds

So Ann had the idea for a 'Hundred Playground Project' with Zoe the Wonder Girl. It took a while, since the playgrounds were closed for a bit due to the Plague, but we're now at #99. #100 will be the swingset/climbing thing in her own backyard. The very largest ones are of more interest now that she's reached the advanced age of eight, but it's been great fun. I'm preparing a certificate with a frame.

She really should have a torch in the right-hand photo.

Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.

100 playgrounds. I’ll bet you didn’t need to leave Ramsey County.

We didn't have to, but we did; some of the Hennepin County Parks have really huge excellent ones. And she got to play on 'Treasure Island', the one behind Expo School that I was heavily involved with building in the early '90s, before they tore it down and replaced it with something far less interesting.

Brilliant. My granddaughter reminded me to get “curtains” for the tent platform. Now that it has a roof we can turn it into a proper theater when not used for chicken slaughtering.

My kids and I spent hundreds of happy hours at the Expo Treasure Island. It was amazing. Thank you.

    The "251 Club".

I like the 100 playground club even better!

That Wonder Girl is perilously few years away from rebranding as a Wonder Woman. Oy.

Her appearance here from time to time has been a gift to us; thanks to you for that, and even more to her.

I'd pay good money to see that! Not 'the show', LeeG - but the expressions on those faces as you do your 'performance art'!

It's 'not the same' - but Nebraska offers a 'passport', a way of encouraging travel to all the sights in the state (I believe there are more than three....) I've always thought that a good idea.

Indeed; I'm all too well aware. Her mom started turning onto a teenager at about 10-1/2, which was a bit much for all of us to handle, I think.
