    Default 1.7 million

Those of us in the airline industry here in the US like seeing this milestone. 1.7 million passengers through TSA checkpoints yesterday.

Still a ways to go to get back to 2019, pre-pandemic numbers, but we are well on the way. International travel is obviously still way down and likely will be for some time. Business travel is slowly coming back. Shared first class with a couple well dressed folks last ride to work.

they let pilots ride in first class now?

usually see them stuffed back in the back in a middle row somewhere
Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.

I’m sitting at gate C19 as I type this. Boarding will begin momentarily.

Rare instance. There was an empty seat and I bring chocolates to the gate agents in Savannah every Valentine’s Day.

My phone started ringing at 4am a few days ago. Crew Scheduling trying to find some pilots but Lynda and I had reservations for dinner to celebrate our birthdays.

It’s gonna be a very busy summer.

Certainly a small percentage did, but they like everyone else was masked making the chances of transmission low. As for me Iím over 2 weeks past my 2nd shot so Iím not the least bit concerned.

    Tunnel of Love.
The old terminal in DTW had an employee cafeteria that made incredible blueberry pancakes.

I bet I've walked that tunnel 100 time (& Paul has 1000). I like it & love looking at kids' reactions to it.

If only they hadn't ditched the Irish pub in B. Good beer + I can't tell you how many people I ran into there that I knew (waiting fro the same BTV flight). The big open restaurant at the end of A is OK - but a long walk.

Itís odd that the guy on this thread whoís lived here for 40-some-odd years has been through that tunnel the least. Maybe 5 times for me.

You're lucky enough to not have to travel for work.
