    Default PNW cruise dreams

I tripped across this on Craigslist. Now if I was going to sell the farm and move on board, this would be the dream. Not cheap, but cheaper than a house in most of the country.

Gonna spend a lot of time @ anchor - as docking that beast would be spendy!

IIRC I saw her on Yachtworld (or at least somewhere before this) & thought she'd be a fabulous liveaboard.

Laredo is very nice, but if I were to buy a boat with someone else's money it would be the Chippewa, she's kept better than new and the owners haven't cut any corners. https://www.yachtworld.com/boats/194...nk-85-3763463/.

Well, she's impressive, but then again there are boats with engines and engines with boats.

Much cheaper than a house in many places. What a fun dream.

I actually like Laredo a bit better. Chippewa is masterfully done, but Laredo has a better "feel" to me.

Direct drive. That would be a learning curve...
