    Default Trump's accomplishments?

He's going to speak at CPAC today.

He continues to have an enormous amount of support.

Can someone tell me what he actually did that the country benefited from? Explain his healthcare bill that he was going to sign 'in a couple of weeks"?

I'd love to see a list of his positive accomplishments for the US as president.

The only thing that's important is that he pissed off libtards. Anything else doesn't really matter.

He gave voice to a lot of people while pissing off the liberals even if it weakens democracy, national security and makes vulgar discourse more acceptable. It’s nice to have priorities.

How could I forget? He made it OK to be a racist and/or sexual predator.

    And he pissed of libtards.

He belongs in the dustbin of history. He can’t get there soon enough, as far as I’m concerned.

The fact that he obviously didn't give a rat's a-s about minorities, Mexican kids, the poor, Obama, or anything intellectual makes him the darling of Republicans.

I think the attraction was that he didn’t bother to uphold any platitudes beyond “USA! USA! USA!” In their willingness to throw the baby out with the bath water “he tells it like it is”, he doesn’t even try to be honest and they appreciate that. It’s a refrain I’ve heard from apolitical young people. “They all lie, he does it honestly” followed up with “ maybe it’s what the country needs to see what’s really going on”.

I heard that a lot in 2017.. as the months & insanity went by w/ McConnell openly backing him & Pelosi doing nothing more than performance art, those voices (none, young) tapered off. Now, obviously, the country has "not seen what's really going on". George. pointed out the renewed bombing.. Americans said "it works". Riight. Fook.

FWIW, Sicknick, considered a patriot by the left & traitor by the right.. well, here's a quote - "Sicknick was a military veteran who later became an opponent of the Iraq War and George W. Bush, and was an outspoken supporter of President Trump."

    "https://www.democracynow.org/2021/1/11/headlines/brian_sicknick_capitol_police_officer_killed_in_co up_attempt_was_antiwar_trump_supporter"

continuing on - "Hami on Twitter: "Having worked with Norse and Elder Futhark iconography for years, I’m quite alert to the glyph shapes and their associations in the modern world and history. So, why is the #CPAC2021 stage an Odal rune, and specifically one with serifs (or wings) that was used by the SS? https://t.co/gc4HhtGA3n" / Twitter "

see, also - "BlaqkPhoenix777 on Twitter: "@hami @SpiroAgnewGhost "In November 2016, the leadership of the National Socialist Movement announced their intention to replace the Nazi-pattern swastika with the Odal rune on their uniforms and party regalia in an attempt to enter mainstream politics.[9]"" / Twitter "

    But Biden will save us.

    hoo, boy.

I am profoundly sick and tired of hearing news about Trump and his vile spawn and discussing them.

I suspect that events over the next three years (legal and/or health issues) will result in his inability to ever run for public office again. And we will have to settle for discussing the likes of Pompeo, Cruz, Hawley, and the other ambitious Cult-of-Trump deplorables.

Repugnican admiration for Trump proves that generation of trumpeting jibberjabber about "the constitution" was just lip service.

    Isn't that self contradictory?

Maybe I should rephrase the question: What did he do that made life better for anyone other than millionaires?

Trump is already less important, but what he's done to the GOP is not finished.

33 states are passing laws to make it harder, perhaps impossible, for democratic voters to vote. They may succeed.

That isn’t why he was voted in. The cynicism that made his campaign possible acknowledges the POTUS doesn’t have an immediate effect, especially with all the liberals and socialists out there. His incompetence and gas lighting about the pandemic validates their nihilism, there’s nothing you can do, it’ll disappear like magic, or maybe it won’t. He embodies victimhood and “winning”.

    Lots of contradictions.

Maybe don't bank on that. From a couple weeks ago, but.. and see SMartinsen's post above.

"Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., told Fox News Sunday that he is meeting with Trump to discuss the future of the party, predicting that Trump's daughter-in-law Lara Trump was 'the biggest winner of this whole impeachment trial.' "

"Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., also argued that Trump is likely not going anywhere soon. The former president 'remains the most popular Republican in the country,' he told reporters Sunday."

I fully expect some legal problems coming shortly, and it's hard to predict what impact they'll have on his importance.

Everything Trump touches dies. Will the GOP be an exception to that? Time will tell.

The bigger problem is the 'news' sources that are simply lying to their audience, and their audience believes them.
