    Default whats this glue?

Just been watching some youtube woodworking vids, and theres a guy laminating three or four maybe 4mm x 20mm strips in a table top jig to make an arch with a radius of about 750mm or so.. he lays each strip in place inbetween chocks he's used to get the form, wedges them against each other and then drizzles a wet runny glue from a pipette bottle over the exposed upper sides. No mixing , or not seen anyway, relying on capilliary action or just soaking in to get in between the laminations ...?
somone else commented ' nice job, whats that glue you're using ' and the reply was 'Gual' (?) google shows nothing.

I wondered, but ive only seen it in those little 2 or 3 m tubes, Loctite does a larger bottle, but I'd guess still only 10 0r 15 cc and expensive to drool all over the place.
Also seen another one of those life hack vids of a someone building a drill press with MDF and all his joints are butted and screwed then he runs a bead of the same glue along the join. but its not even like PVA, soaks right in and doesnt leave a visible bead.

ok seems it is CA or cyanoacrylate super glue..still, painting on but not between the laminates, ? surely very expensive. and why not use a more trad glue if you are assembling it like in the vid. ...or speed perhaps?

available at Amazon ...ca glue 16 oz bottle..thin 39$us.. you want the thin type if you plan on using it the same way as in the viedo ....it'll wick into the joints. there are smaller quanities, of course. if you can't work fast, buy a bottle of "debonder" too.

Sounds like a pretty expensive way to do a bent lamination...
