I see Sleeping Beauty and the Wicked Witch, I'm guessing the crossbow represents William Tell and Son. Steve Jobs at this end of the table? Looks more like Gates, though. Not sure if there are any apples in the Robin Hood tales, but...

Snow White is on there and Wilhelm Tell - probably with his son. The others - ???

    Robin Hood?

I don't disagree that Mr. Hood is there at the head of the table, but I don't recall any apple story connected with him.

I believe that the guy at the head of the table is William Tell (wearing a hood, rather than Robin's usual cap).

The couple seated below the crossbow (at 9:00) are probably Paris (in the Greek tunic) and either Helen of Troy, or else Aphrodite (Judgment of Paris, leading to the Trojan War). Unless the female figure is Atalanta, in which case the male figure would be another ancient Greek guy, whose name eludes me at the moment.

Either way, I saw only Adam and Eve at first glance, and missed the point of the cartoon, which is the connections of everyone at the table.

(My word, we're certainly a bunch of trifling old farts, n'est-ce pas? )

I do not know the connection but the Snake ordered the apple.

Maine may well take the cake. You can travel through Poland, Norway, Naples, Lebanon, and Paris (and others) in a couple of hours.
