I am thinking to take help from my wife and share with you something a bit tricky but wonderful, minced meat Pratha.
Recipe should be available on net but she makes the filling differently.

Mint chutney, recommended with Chapli Kabab and Canoez Chickpea daal.

Greetings Sir. At least we know that the sun is usually to the north or at a minimum almost directly above. It is a most encouraging sign.

We're suffering our vicious winter right now , 20 C or 68 F day time with a touch of frost in the valley bottoms at night.

The power company trucks are driving around now, shining spotlights on the power lines looking for blow-outs. Not surprised, that was a close hit.

Now I see they're at a neighbors kitty-corner behind my house and I saw power lines with some serious droop in them. The block across the street is without power so it was closer than I thought.

It looks like it'll take them a few minutes yet. I got a fresh pot of coffee and candles lit. I just remembered the dog doesn't like power blips in the house, great, and he's been upset about all the idling diesels outside. Maybe i should slip him a sedative.

Yeap, all set. It took them about 20 minutes to replace the middle wire of the 3 mains. Boy, you couldn't give me a job like that. Talk about butt-puckering, yeee.

Ramadan Kareem ! well prolly a bit late but better late than never

Thats one thing that I would love to experience. The traffic stopping, early closing families sharing etc (But I don't know how you cope with no fluid )

I imagine, after the time I shall be eating this and this but after one glass of cold water and a snack all the cravings vanish.

Thank you changeng, human body has great flexibility and the system adjusts itself but disturbance in sleeping hours is tough to cope with.

    G'mornin' All --

Wow... we zoomed past page 100 like it was standing still. Hmmm.... maybe it WAS standing still. Or sitting still - like Tulsy waiting for his brain to return. I just hope he remembers to send mind home when he sees it.

Back to semi-civilized weather today. Mid-80's today... 80 tomorrow. This I can almost live with!

OK back to artists from the Festival that I didn't see --

Thanks, Jimmy. He's worth remembering. I plugged him in this morning, but too raucous for my morning listen. Same with Shawn Pittman and Chris Cain. Finally settled on a Janiva Magness CD - for which I have the Pub to thank! Was that you that drug her in here?

I first heard Janiva from you playing her. The local community radio station has a promotion clip done by her. Actually Johnny has been mostly too raucous for me today, but I still have his first album on vinyl. I don't have a working turntable any more though.
