I'll take one. I'll tuck it into the freezer while my nachos finish cooking. Can't wait!

One way to look at it -- you're not one year older... you're one DAY older (or two now?).

Nachos turned out pretty good. Not my best batch, but good.

What I'm really drinking is Cape Kiwanda 'Cream Ale'. A vintage (pre-prohibition) recipe for a pale ale. Perfect with the nachos. A Mexican lager would have been great, too.

The doctor gave me a new blood pressure med and the muscle relaxer, ask me to keep a blood pressure diary because my blood pressure was kinda high. Friday it was a bit better but this morning it was 197 over 104. I figgered this is it dude. No more Advil or muscle relaxers till I figger this out. They call high blood pressure the silent killer, I told my nurse that is not true for me I know when mine starts up. She said you are one of the lucky ones. Took me till afternoon to get it to a livable rate, not low but not strokeville any way.

Mine is usually a bit high. High normal to slightly elevated. 134/77 was the last reading. If I keep losing weight, they tell me it will ease down some.

    Morning All,

Welcome to the new face. Phaidra... don't let Glen & Bob send you out for a left-handed monkey wrench... or a bucket of prop-wash.

My wife is not perfect. There, I said it.

She is brilliant, creative, beautiful, talented, sweet, caring, loving, articulate, funny, and more. She has a lot of marvelous traits. And the cutest... ummmm... errrrr... smile.

But I can NOT get her to grasp that the whole world does NOT bounce out of bed like a chipmunk on speed, ready to charge into the world. Or even into the simplest conversation. When I awake... I'm only half awake. I get by on routine. And walking into the same room as her is like being mobbed by a raucous flash-mob of cheerful, friendly, curious, chatty, hummingbirds. This morning, she was chattering away, and I snapped at her, "Don't BABBLE at me!!" She felt bad. I felt bad. And I ran the coffee contraption thru the whole cycle without remembering to put any coffee in. Now I'm even grumpier. Guess I'd better wander off into the rest of the Bilge and find a political thread <G>
