No, that's middleson. Close though. This is his younger sister, who also coaches swimming. Or did. Her first kid is almost 2, named after great grandma (mom) and redheaded. Poor dad.

Fred, I'm still sorting out all the 'great' business. If that means cash in birthday cards, since they're scattered all over, I'll likely fall short. Their folks already know that.

Well we can have another round a Tecate and maybe Fred will join us. I Think have become a real fan of the Mexican beers lately, this quick stop does not always have them, red neck country here.

Settled for buttermilk and some crackers for a quick lunch.

For dinner, I made some big ol' meatballs. About 3 oz of ground chuck each, The first one got cut in half and tucked into a fresh-today English Muffin with some ketchup and pickle relish.

I am still alive this morning, if you call this living. Waiting for my wife to get home, she went with the girl to a pre surgery consultation. I know she is worried about her baby girl an rightfully so. I am doing my best which is not so good to keep from being a burden on both of them right now. Kinda sucks being me.

I'll take alive. The boy is headed this way to attack the deck. Supposed to hit mid-80's today. Mighty hot for an old phart to work outside all day.

Hey David, 90 here headed to 101. The girl got the low down on her cancer, it was not what she wanted to hear. It is the type that will require Chemo, some good news I guess is the doc thinks they can just do a lumpectomy but he can't be sure until after the MRI. I just regret not being able to be there with her, but you can bet her mom will.

Bad news, indeed, and not as bad as it could have been. Tell her when you see her or talk to her - she's in our thoughts. You and S, too.

Still bloody hot here, but I'm done for the day. Great fun to work with the younger boy, and his 5 mon. old puppy is a constant joy and hoot. I'm real ready for a shower, but some female jumped in there first. I offered to join her, but she said no, we use 3 times the water that way <sigh> More hot weather headed our way. We got further than I expected today, so I had to go pick up some tools from the shop for tomorrow. And the lumber yard up that way didn't have the last stick of lumber we need for the structure. I'll go the other way in the morning before he arrives.

Hope everyone had a good day!!

I kicked Cancer's ass Bobby, ten years ago.
I had a few bad moments with worry on my mind at the time.
I overcame all that by turning it over to God.
I was fearless after that and still am to this day.
Peace,Love and good vibrations to you and the family.

Kevin this Girl knows and is known of God. Mostly it is the disappointment of the diagnoses for her. She knows she is in for more than a few years of Chemo and then on to the hormones'. Which may turn her into a raging bitch, which she dreads.

Oh Kevin, another thing is when you put it in God's hands you better be ready to face the outcome. His will may not quite jive up with yours as you may know, how does that go? You don't always get what you want.
