MRI results today, not really what I wanted. A bit of new growth...back on chemo next week.

Don't do what ever I did to get a brain cancer.

Sorry to hear that Peter! What a drag to have to undergo chemo again! But let's hope that it knocks this one too - wishing you all the very best!

That's bad news. Hope you get back on top of it. And don't blame yourself for whatever you did. Sometimes bad stuff just happens.

Thanks all. As for causes, there seem to be no known causes, little kids die of the thing. It's very hard to find causative factors.

Not good news mate. Hoping you can stay ahead of it.

I'm in love. With my new heater. Fired it up in the new room. It makes lots of heat. Quite a lot of noise when it's on high. But OK on low. Is good. Is very good.

Awesome Whale watching day aboard Wee Barkie with perfect conditions followed by a lovely afternoon sail.
Below is Bronwyn ready to dive over the side and greet some giants had we been able to coordinate a near perfect intersect.

Last week the beaches where still 22 .
We only ventured about 4 miles out due to the light winds and I did not take a sounder reading since both the sounder and motor where turned of while out there.

We had a call out late Friday arvo and by the time we got a crew together it was dark. A 6.5m cabin cruiser had broken down at the Mud Hole 3nm out. Crossing the bar at night is quite an experience and luckily it was fairly benign. Coming back in I used the radar to line us up for the bar and keep us off the Southern wall.
Got the towline across and attached.

Picking out the port and starboard lights on the ends of the breakwaters against all the shore lights was fun.
    Under tow.

Safely back inside and shortening the tow. Two very relieved and happy fishermen.

That was my first night time assist.

Bummer! Will there be any chance of JIM progress while on chemo, or will it mean a complete halt during treatment?

It depends on how this lot of chemo affects me this time, last time it was combined with radiation but it's only chemo this time, unless I get onto an immunotherapy trial. That might flatten me for a while.

Not having radiation should help, one less thing your body has to deal with, not to mention that much less time running backwards and forwards to appointments which can be tiring too.
