Greetings, folks--
I'm Matt Murphy, editor of WoodenBoat. We (WoodenBoat) are currently working on an upgrade to the Forum, and aiming to 1) improve the user experience, with easier image uploads and graphics; 2) employ better spam blockers; and 3) improve functionality on mobile-devices. To quell any concerns: We do not anticipate the Forum being down for any appreciable length of time, or at all. I'm currently the interim moderator as we work through this transition, and I'll keep you apprised when we're poised to make the upgrade--which may be several weeks from now.

So, I don't know anything about systems, or software versions. I'm lucky I can post photos. just not my thing. I can build a boat though. wcha.org The wooden canoe heritage association just updated their forum. Wow! what an improvement. Ease of use and it looks is amazing.

Matt I'm looking forward to the improvements you've hinted at, and your taking over the helm here as well.

(Hope is that the changes I've seen in other forae making them less user-friendly and accessible aren't going to appear here anytime soon!)
