Re: "Tripod" to support spars for varnish
I thought I would give a review after 4 coats of varnish (3 more to go)
Given the fact that I have workshop or saw horses, I like the plastic bits to support the spars for varnish.
On the other hand from my experience, I do not like them for bench seats, rudders etc. They are ok if you are doing one side at a time (but then again so are cans of beans) but if you try to do two sides, the wet side down slides everywhere and makes a mess.
Maybe if it were paint rather than varnish, it wouldn't be so slippery.
