you ever have something go up your nose that shouldn't?

i was mowing volunteer wheat on a neighbors fallow field today with the disc mower, to make some straw. always a bit of a pelting with that mower. seeds, dirt, rocks, whatever. anyway, a kernel of wheat shot right up my nose and i can't get it out.

open to suggestions.

Get Norma to blow in your ear I was pushing a mob of sheep through tall grass with my dirt bike once and a spear grass seed about an inch long hit me in the outer edge of my eye and every movement made it work in deeper behind my eye ball. Probably ten minutes before I could get my Dad to get it out. I'll take wheat up the schnoz any day JayInOz

Alternative method is to drink so much beer that you got to puke. At the instant of regurgitation, clap your hand over your mouth, directing the ejecta through the sinuses.

I suppose we'll have to be calling you colonel Baxter from now on.
Pharmacy / chemist here have a sinus irrigation kit , which is a squeeze bottle and sterile solution plus instructions. It's gross yet effective.

Not nose but throat, I managed to nearly swallow a wasp when cycling on my racing bike.
It took me 2 day's to feel "normal" again

I got a deerfly up my nose once - riding with the faceshield up. While it was exceedingly unpleasant for me, I imagine it wasn't a lot of fun for the deerfly either.

Infections can happen easily in nasal passages. If you can't get it out - you might want to talk to a doc about it.
