One thing I want to address before closing is this: a question I’ve seen raised more than once, and it’s a reasonable thing to ask: "How is it plausible that beings that can circumvent the laws of known physics such that they can manage interstellar/interdimensional travel manage to still crash some of their ships?"I think this question may result from a failure of imagination and perspective. Let's put on our Sci-Fi writing hats for a second and come up with a plausible explanation.
Imagine that you're a guy from the 1700s who gets caught up in a weird storm, and you get time warped, very briefly, to 2023. You see not just cars, but airplanes, helicopters, drones, rocket ships, all these advanced means of transportation that you, who has only ever ridden a horse, cannot conceive of.
Some of this stuff, these Teslas with FSD, the entire fleet of modern commercial aircraft, they can all pilot themselves without human intervention.
It would perhaps seem inconceivable to you that people capable of such advanced technology could still have, in just the United States alone, over 2 million car accidents a year, 42,000+ of which are fatal, and another 70-90 plane crashes a year worldwide.
Just because a technology seems exotically advanced to us does not make it foolproof. Nor does it mean that the minds who might have devised it are infallible. It just means it's something that lies outside of our current conceptual framework.

This interpretation is just plain wrong. Ornithologists will spend months hiding in blinds with long lenses to study bird behavior. I think it's most likely that aliens would think that communication with us would be pointless but are curious enough to study us.

It's curious that we haven't heard of governments other than the U.S. trying to cover up UFOs. I think that the most likely explanation is that the US military is behind a lot of the so called leaks. It provides cover for anything that might get revealed accidentally and an easy way to discredit anyone that comes forward with things they've seen. I read something a number of years ago that backs up this theory and had an interview with an Air Force officer that claimed he had spread "aliens are real" disinformation under orders. If I find where I read that I will post here.

The US Government, military, and intelligence have outright said that there are instances they cannot explain away . . .meaning, there are no known techs, foreign or domestic, that can do what these objects have done.
