  • The USA doesn't have a monopoly on it....

looks like India is also pursuing a 'dumb-down of education'.

The periodic table, as well as evolution, won’t be taught to under-16s in India as they start the new school year

India Cuts Periodic Table and Evolution from School Textbooks

We're confident we can maintain American superiority in dumbing down, over India.

I read the article - why the periodic table? Not that any of it makes sense, but that makes less than no sense.
It's all fun and games until Darth Vader comes.

Rather like Texas's banning of children's books, and American gun laws?

After Brahma created the world, it is the power of Vishnu which preserves the world and human beings. As part of the cycle of birth, life and death it is Shiva who will ultimately destroy the universe - unless stupidity destroys it first.
There is no rational, logical, or physical description of how free will could exist. It therefore makes no sense to praise or condemn anyone on the grounds they are a free willed self that made one choice but could have chosen something else. There is no evidence that such a situation is possible in our Universe. Demonstrate otherwise and I will be thrilled.
