So, did the good people of Georgia vote for this moron?

If so, does anyone know the average IQ in Georgia? Is it a skewed bell curve or a Weibull distribution?
It really is quite difficult to build an ugly wooden boat.

One of the reasons people think that people who speak with a southern drawl are less intelligent.

If the earth was flat, cats would be lined up around the edge, pushing things off.

For some reason this reminds me of a guy who was all excited. He had just learned that electricity flows from negative to positive, and not from positive to negative, which, according to him, was what was believed for years.

I asked him, "How come all the radios, tvs, etc. made when they thought it flowed from positive to negative work?

It's kind of hard to believe that there are people who believe the world is flat. Has anyone ever asked them to find the edge and take a photo?

They do this sort of thing, trying to 'science it out' for themselves.

"Mad" Mike Hughes, 64, wanted to launch himself into space to prove that the Earth was flat.

Oh, hell, if you honestly believe the universe was created in seven 24-hour days 6000 years ago because the Bible says so (it doesn't really, but why quibble?), from that to a flat earth isn't even a small stretch. Six impossible things before breakfast. Ye must have faith!

It appears to be quite real, alas . Looking at her facebook page is - um - interesting.

Kandiss Taylor received just 3.4 percent of the vote in Georgia’s GOP primary for governor

Survey numbers about conspiracy beliefs here. 10% believe the flat earth hypothesis: https://carsey.unh.edu/publication/c...public-beliefs

Is it really too much to ask that we as a society formalize our agreement as to objective reality and codify that into our politics such that only those who agree get to have a say in government? Would it be preposterous to insist that a president, if it were to come to that, not be a flat-earther, or holocaust denier or climate denier or hoax touter? I'm leaning towards John Smith rules for honesty by office-holders.

Thanks. I'd like to know where the line between lying and fraud is. FOX News has been telling its viewers what we all know, thanks to Dominion's suit, THEY KNEW WERE LIES. Free speech, as I learned it, covers OPINIONS. It does not cover fraud. I don't see how a news network can knowingly misrepresent facts any more than a car dealer can mispresent the miles on a used car.
