I had some nice old pipes that a friend gave me when we were kids. When my Dad found them he put them on the concrete path near the back door and smashed them up with the heel of his boot. JaynIOzComment

Love the pipes. I've fantasized about replacing 1 or 2 of my decent pipes with something nifty I've carved myself.
I also love the Slojd work (chip carving), and have actually done a tiny bit of that...

Sten Havumaki has some really terrific carvings. He did some carving for me waaaaaay back when he was just getting started. Trumpet vines in densely curly Maple.
I wish my web site, and all it's pictures hadn't been hacked and lost. and even the pics I had on Photobucket are gone now. Stupid me for trusting technology.Comment
