Berlin Sights to see?
Taking a last minute trip to Berlin for my SO's book release. I've got 3 days there to look around, haven't had any time to research so checking in with the Bilge crowd for suggestions. Danke.Tags: None -
Re: Berlin Sights to see?
I would highly advise the bike tour first day - 40 dollars with a fun, knowledgeable guide.
- 3.5-hour bike tour of Berlin. As you follow your guide, you’ll cycle to iconic landmarks such as Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island. Stop regularly to capture photographs and learn of the history of the Reichstag, the Berlin Wall and the Holocaust. Travel at a leisurely pace and receive personalized attention from your guide on this small-group tour.Without friends none of this is possible. -

Obviously the whole stretch from Berliner Tor through Museuminsel to Alexanderplatz. Then, it all depends...WszystekPoTrochu's signature available only for premium forum users.Comment

I understand the concrete Nazi flak towers are still there. Too tough to tear down.Gerard>

Schloss Charlottenburg can be combined with Broehan Museum (it's across the street). The train takes you to Potsdam for Sanssouci and New Palace plus whatever else you want to see there. You can also take a tour on a steam ship, coal fired (Gustav) https://schifffahrt-in-potsdam.de/en/#weglot_switcherComment
