  • Swedish Boat P@RN

So, I am in Gothenberg this week and my hotel is in the port. Just out front is a maritime museum, with a fleet of wooden vessels.

    I hope you enjoy.

When I first walked past this guy, he was using a hand plane. He was also grunting and using strong language.( I dont speak Swedish but his utterances were universal 😊 )

When I walked back off the wharf, he was singing.

      I wonder why? 😃

Those rectangles are lidded wooden boxes with rope handles. Anyone know what they are for? Crew personal belongings?

The mast partner is maybe 12 x 12 inches.

Now, I spied a work table on the float, with evidence of actual work having been performed.

Is this typical/normal or is there some sort of tourist festivalgoin on ?
I cant decide if its real funky or staged?
                          Do it smell fishy?
                          The boats go out?
Are they yachts for the most part?
                          so many questions

Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.
