During his announcement to the press (as Lauren Boebert stood by his side) that he will be seeking the removal of Kevin McCarthy as House Speaker, Congress-critter Dan Bishop (R-NC 8th District) said the quiet part out loud.... MAGA wants to defeat the 2 yr. debt ceiling deal to tank the economy to help Trump win in 2024.

And what does the divisive two-years do? It removes the issue from the national conversation during the presidential election to come! How could you more successfully kneecap any Republican president than to take that issue out of his or her hands? That's what's being done.

The GOP are unashamed liars and hypocrites. They have no agenda for governing or accomplishing anything for the American people. Their goal is as De Santis boasted "To defeat leftism"; period the end. It was OK to suspend the debt ceiling for two years under TFG but not for Biden. Eff them; all of them.
