  • New rule for Senate elections.

There are two senators from each state. At least one of them must be a woman.

Mississippi has a woman and I would argue that she is the worse of the two.

The only 'rule' we need is to require truth. Accepting lies as free speech is the problem.

Will that replace the current rule that one has to be in at least his/her eighth decade?

If a supreme court judge can't define a "woman" how would the requirement be enforced.

Jackson, an Ivy League law school graduate, has served her community as a Supreme Court clerk, a District Judge, and a Court of Appeals Judge. Despite these qualifications, Jackson was unable to offer a response to the simplest of questions, on the meaning of the word "woman."

So Washington has two women senators. Which one do we trade in on a man?

Why pray not one of each?

Question being who gets to decide which is which?

So you could have 2 women and no men, but not 2 men and no women?

We have a woman senator. Fortunately she hasn't been in the news lately. Unfortunately she is Susan Collins.

Jim, you must have been asleep when you thought of this. Its a thought but not a good one, being filled with unintended consequences. Sorry to say that this idea is representative of the research behind the current GOP law proposals and enactments.

Why do people think that women will be better? Have you not watched MTG and Boebert? They aren't even better for women.

This is the kind of thinking that shows even the liberals are dumbing down America.

Vote for someone who will think and then do some good and stop worrying about what's in their pants.

If you could compare the words that were running thru my brain when I read the OP... you'd know that posting that rather gently-phrased link IS playing nice. Relatively speaking <G>

Re: New rule for Senate elections.

Gender may be some of the problem; abortion laws ought to be voted on by women.

The bottom line is our BIG problem is accepting lies as free speech.

Thanks to the Dominion suit, we KNOW the hosts of FOX were blatantly lying to their audience. They were stating 'facts' they know were not facts.

IMO, this is NOT the exercise of free speech. It is the deliberate and intentional misinforming of voters. When does lying become fraud? Fraud is a crime.
