There is a deck plank that needs to be replaced just inboard of the aft winch.

Racing schooners commonly have the masts quite close together with a smaller foresail and a much bigger mainsail.

The small foresail is usually of heavier cloth and is used almost like a trysail, whilst the big mainsail gives the same sort of power as a cutter would have.
