we have a bug going through making everyone puke and poop, so far I’m the only one not sick, so far. A neighbor whose kids play with ours is having a psychotic break and is in a facility after a few days of barefoot walkabouts in the woods which has made the last few days feel sketchy. I immediately worry about access to firearms but apparently I’m the only one worried about that.
I’m really appreciating the sense of humor in 18 mo olds. It’s quickthen off to the next joke, or the same one over and over. They like to look at books upside down.

Sounds like Norovirus. Herself and I had it a couple years ago at the same time, after which we had to repaint the bathroom. Try not to catch it.

Upside down books give a different slant on life………
There are some very odd bugs about, a flesh eating one is about here from mosquitos.

But generally peoples live are under pressure from a range of directions from the threat of nuke war in Europe, China in the Pacific, your Presidential electoral chaos with two ancients in prospect, and the general rise of the violent right. No wonder there are strange behaviourds manifesting them selves.

Wow! I strangely understand this thread and see relevance in my life.

We will be having house guests for the next few weeks. Stepdaughter and the two youngest are staying with us until the end of the school year. On advice of her attorney she and the kids are not returning home to her husband. They are heading for divorce. I worry about his mental health. He is armed to the teeth! (Shall not be infringed bitches!).

personally ticks, chiggers and poison ivy bug me but in his case it might be middleaged untreated schizophrenia, and he’s the stable parent.

My mom could read upside-down and backwards as well as normal. She spent some time on a linotype machine in college ... I was always jealous.

I don't think George W had that skill tho

Anyone who has been involved in face to face selling or even interviews should be able to read upside down. What's on a person's desk is often quite telling. Gets harder with screens that get turned off though.
