  • What individual rights does GOP support?

    Aside from guns?

Maybe it's just me, but if I were to make a list of problems in this country that NEED solutions, I don't think abortions or sexual orientation would be on it.

The 'right' to do whatever you want with your money and not to pay much in taxes, assuming you have lots of it.

          I was thinking that too.
The right to hang on to whatever you have got. But I was not limiting it to wealth.

see: esp. if eating skittles, participating in a legal protest, or black and ringing your doorbell

Freedom to carry a semi automatic gun in public (but not a knife over 3" long)

I thought the Skittles reference was to Marshawn Lynch. Then I remembered Trayvon.

That comes under #3, doing whatever you want with your money as long as you have a great heaping pile of it.

I agree, but GOP doesn't care if children are killed; only if fetuses are killed. An egg is not a chicken, a tadpole is not a frog, and a caterpillar is not a butterfly.

I suspect that when some liberals argue for freedom to use various drugs they are unconsciously endorsing the "freedom to fail."
Limited. freedom, to me, means being allowed to marry the consenting adult of your choice. Freedom to 'fail' is also the freedom to succeed.

I'm not sure what drugs you're referencing, but today's laws about various drugs are, to my mind, no different than Prohibition of alcohol was. Bad guys got rich. We spent a lot of money enforcing laws we couldn't really enforce. People died from homemade hooch that wasn't safe to drink. We had the sense to end that madness, but now we're repeating it with drugs; spend lots of tax dollars trying to enforce laws that we can't really enforce, bad guys are making millions, and people are dying from drugs over which their is no quality control because they are illegal.

                            Really?
Explain how the GOP doesn't care if children are killed.

And while you are at it tell me at what stage of life a fetus becomes a child and is then no longer allowed to be legally killed.

What have they done behind children getting shot in school?
