My carry on will have foul weather gear, evening Yacht club attire and blazer, surf shorts, glasses with corokeys, Fuji X100V camera with extra batteries, my iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, my GoPro, possibly my drone, and a plethora of chargers, and toiletries.
I was going to bring a $200 bottle of Tuscan wine that a client gave us but the crazy girlfriend of the friend that watched our home last weekend F’ing STOLE IT yesterday.

The foul weather gear is good. You can dress up or down as you feel. The club attire works at the YC but the crawl home - they may get wrinkled. The damp marine layer is thick lately which will put the temps in the mid 50s at night.Without friends none of this is possible.Comment

Might be easier and safer to bring less on the boat. The boat is known to be very dry but still will have a few watertight boxes for belongings. will be open most of the time, a good chance things will get damp plus there will unknown visitors aboard at the end of the race.

Neja - Bill Lapworths prototype Aux racer. 34 feet on deck. Rates a gift PHRF 174 but know she is closer speed to 140. I seen her close speed and distance on "faster" boats. Her hull is similar to the L36 and the Cal 40.
