My old Nikon will be on board - three lenses. I used to have extra action cams but a crew member...

In that case bring the crazy girlfriend of your friends who stole it - she might just fit in or we could trade her for something valuable.

The foul weather gear is good. You can dress up or down as you feel. The club attire works at the YC but the crawl home - they may get wrinkled. The damp marine layer is thick lately which will put the temps in the mid 50s at night.

Might be easier and safer to bring less on the boat. The boat is known to be very dry but still will have a few watertight boxes for belongings. will be open most of the time, a good chance things will get damp plus there will unknown visitors aboard at the end of the race.

Is Joe working the bow or is that my turf?

I may have forgotten to ask... are we a cruising-canvas or a spinnaker class?

Ted can put this Deck Ape anywhere I can do the least amount of damage and insure a place in the finals.

It will be good to see you again Figment

We are in a serious racing class. Very good chance we will be fighting for room at the marks and the other boats will look to cover us with their taller rigs. We sail as much cloth as we feel comfortable doing - spinnakers, bloopers, flying jibs and Home Depot buckets.

                                Our competition.

Farallone Clippers - 38 feet on deck. Classic San Francisco Racers

Neja - Bill Lapworths prototype Aux racer. 34 feet on deck. Rates a gift PHRF 174 but know she is closer speed to 140. I seen her close speed and distance on "faster" boats. Her hull is similar to the L36 and the Cal 40.
