Does any logical adult honestly think tfg could get re-elected?
Think about it. First, after being an absolute criminal buffoon for the past three years, he’d have to make up the 7 million votes he lost by.“Come, come, my conservative friend, wipe the dew off your spectacles and see the world is moving" - Elizabeth Cady StantonTags: None -
Re: Does any logical adult honestly think tfg could get re-elected?
There would have to be some kind of a giant snowball of October surprise involving the sudden demise of Joe Biden, rumors of it being due to his eating the brains of aborted embryos in his breakfast omelets, along with some equally scandalous revelation about Harris being a necrophiliac with a space alien stolen from Rosswell in her basement, and something so unlooked for, like a surprise capitulation of Russia in Ukraine and Putin confessing that he caved in secret negotiations with trmp.
So, no, not even in a Hollywood fantasy script, does any sane and logical voter think trmp has a chance at being elected, even if the entire remnant of his moron base shows up at the ballot box and brings their brothers. But I could be wrong.

I think he's capable of getting MUCH CLOSER than I am comfortable with. One big scandal on the other side and he could be in."Where you live in the world should not determine whether you live in the world." - Bono

This.
There are moron independents (the ones who are non-thinkers) who voted for Obama and then voted for Trump.

If Biden pushed through a 25 cent/gal fed fuel tax increase to make up for 30 yrs of underinvestment and deficit spending for transportation I bet that would elevate TFG to electability.Comment

The question is: Do we want Trump to run with the thought that he will certainly lose or do we
want to risk DeSantis winning?
The idea of another Trump presidency is unthinkable.
DeSantis might be a lousy president, but at least he'd be a sane lousy president.I was born on a wooden boat that I built myself.

Re: Does any logical adult honestly think tfg could get re-elected?
Is a "sane" DeSantis--likely more competent than Trump--really better than Trump?
But that may be irrelevant. Like other posters here, I am kind of expecting that the only Republicans who will win primary elections will be candidates who, overall--especially for nationwide offices--will lose big in the general elections.Comment

I think he could get elected again. Precisely because those who've voted for him before and support him now include a huge proportion of adults who aren't logical.
