Yeah, definitely Italian. Who else would put a load bearing support directly behind a door? I bet the movers hated that place.

There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.

When you say taxes, is that like rates?

The question is, just how to monetize that content?

I was referring to any taxes due as a result of property ownership. Not a sales or purchase tax.

Here, we have, " property taxes," on real estate ( in most places). These fund schools, local government, etc.

You're better off in France, where 490k will buy you a chateau.

Just think of it Joe, you can stick it to your neighbours, and as a bonus they will never have to meet you.

Looks beautiful in the summer, but I'm never going back to severe winters of snow and cold ever again.

Summer and endless twighlights are something special, you can sail all night and see everything. Come October the lights go out till March. Not good for anyones mental health. Stick with pizza-land, at least you can drink wine with lunch without suggestions you have a drink problem.

Sounds as if this is the same position as Donald Trump---might ask him. My two granddaughters also have dual citizenship, while my son does not, but his wife does--Bolivia and Mexico. Dunno all the ramifications, but I think benefits such as national health insurance are a serious issue.

                                .
My grandfather Montgomery was born in 1988 and raised in Ulster. He emigrated from Ireland in 1907, first to Canada and then to the USA. I was told that makes me eligible for Irish citizenship. I may follow up.

"They have a lot of stupid people that vote in their primaries. They really do. I'm not really supposed to say that but it's an obvious fact. But when stupid people vote, you know who they nominate? Other stupid people." -- James Carville on the plethora of low-quality GQP candidates in the mid-term election.
