Re: The rich are different from us!
The building is still under construction and he was able use the already-in-place crane.
I suppose the windows were installed after the car was put in.
Will the car be included in the sale whenever the guy sells the place?I was born on a wooden boat that I built myself.

Several years back a house was built on the bluff north of here. She was a high end piano teacher. They had two nine foot grand Steinways brought in by helicopter before the roof went on. (Or maybe they were Bösendorfers.)Comment

I know what you're getting at but driving a Mclaren is a life experience I wouldn't mind having. Yes, he has driven it, but cars like that tend to be investments first. Mileage cheapens them. There is nothing quite as permanent as a good temporary repair.Comment

I also knew a couple of musicians who built a pole house on a very steep slope. One was a concert pianist, the other an internationally acclaimed organist.
A Steinway and the base of a large 'recycled' pipe organ from a demolished church were lifted into the build by helicopter before the build was finished. The organ was then reconstructed in place by an expert.Comment

A friend of a friend, owner of a thriving roofing and siding business, installed a brand new Harley Davidson up on the wall in the atrium/ foyer entrance inside his house.
