  • Greetings from isla

On another thread I noted we hadn’t heard from isla in a while. I PM’ed him and he’s fine, except for some eye surgery planned for December 7th, pending which he can’t see the screen well enough to partake in the Bilge.

He sends greetings to the crew for a Happy Christmas and New Year. If he hasn’t returned by Hogmanay, I propose that we raise a glass to him and any other absent friends.

I reckon if he hasn't turned up by then we should all pack a bag and just lob on his doorstep. Lets find out what sort of a host he is

Here's wishing him the best of all possible outcomes with the surgery... and a triumphant return to the Bilge <G>
