it's not that mainstream banks are liberal, it's that they make concessions to social progress for commercial purposes.

I know it's been asked before, but where does a country that has accomplished so much find so many stupid people?There is no rational, logical, or physical description of how free will could exist. It therefore makes no sense to praise or condemn anyone on the grounds they are a free willed self that made one choice but could have chosen something else. There is no evidence that such a situation is possible in our Universe. Demonstrate otherwise and I will be thrilled.Comment

OMG. How did I miss that movie?
It explains Gaetz, Greene, Boebert, Gohmert, et al. The next Congress won’t do anything and will probably break a bunch of things (like defaulting on Treasury securities over a debt ceiling raise). But it will be amusing to watch Kevin McCarthy unravel as he tries to get a majority vote on anything, and to watch his clenched-teeth snails as he depends on McConnell to actually lead anything.Comment
