    The sad and scary truth is that some MAGA nut jobs are going to resort to violence. The really sd part is that TFG will never be held responsible for the violence or its consequences which may very well include somebody getting killed.

            The indictment has been released. Both Trump, and his aide Walt Nauta.

            Here's a bit from the first part of the indictment, describing why NARA and others had some mild concern about the boxes.

            The indictment details - and shows pictures of - boxes stacked and stored in a variety of places over time, including on a stage of a ballroom. And gives various text exchanges etc. among the people who were moving them from one place to another, at Trump's direction.

            I'll be very interested to see if any elected Republicans change their public stances, when they read that the boxes at one point contained details of America's nuclear capabilities, including perceived weaknesses in it, as well as details of military capacities of other nations, and scenario plans for military attacks.

            We are not told whether those files were among the documents recovered at Mar a Lago, but we are told that those documents were in these very boxes kept in the residence at the White House late in Trump's term.

                        It is clear why 2 of his attorneys on this file quit this morning, even though at least one of them (Trusty) was on TV defending Trump against the pending documents charges just last night.

                            Makes you wonder if they're either witnesses or un-indicted co-conspirators. There are likely to be a few attorneys that worked for T**** that are going to go through some things.

                                In a joint statement, Trusty and Rowley wrote: “This morning we tendered our resignations as counsel to President Trump, and we will no longer represent him on either the indicted case or the January 6 investigation.”

                                                For these indictments? He's gonna do time. A little nugget in there of a text conversation between Nauta and a female Trump family member about the boxes, and how some would be moved.

                                                Didn't identify the female family member, but the wording sure didn't sound like Melania. Suggests that the Princess Royal, who'd otherwise be named as part of the conspiracy, has flipped.

                                                    I expect the number of his supporters will decrease. I doubt they ever all disappear or that all ever admit they were wrong and that he's a crook and a liar, but some will, and they will be angry; at themselves and/or at him.

                                                    How many, I'd not venture to predict, but his support, while still strong, I believe has been dropping, albeit slowly.

                                                    All his legal problems may cause some to dig in harder, but some will realize he's been lying to them. Even if they don't all admit it publicly, they may accept it privately.

                                                            I think there still could be a plea deal (not because I want one) no trial is a sure thing. If they hit him with enough charges he is likely to spend the rest of his life in jail he may plead guilty to be able to fie at whatever resort he calls home for tax purposes and the government avoids a costly battle that could still be lost. If they keep him in jail until 2025 he will be out of the election and be nearing 80 by 2028. Given his lifestyle choices who knows where he will be at physically by that time.
