  • baxter, i'm confused

should i just take these empty plastic fiji water bottles and place them in the normal landfill trash bin?
Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.

Was the water from Fiji, or only the plastic?

you could string them together for patio decoration, like chianti bottles.

I've got some Fiji Gold from last year, but it's in glass. Interesting beer, tastes like nectar in Fiji, take it elsewhere and no ooooo.

                    Enjoy...

The production of that bottle, to make the plastic, transport the bottle to stores, and address the waste is the equivalent of filling up every bottle a quarter of the way with oil."

Sorry for the crappy contrast, it was a lot brighter on the beach than it was on the hotel balcony.

Shangri-La Fijian Resort and Spa, Yanuca Island (which is the whole resort, and about 50 metres off the coast, joined by a causeway) about 10Km west of Sigatoka.

We were there in 2015 and found the resort fairly loathsome. But then we found the bus stop around the service side used to bring the staff in and out and we were free...

Fiji beer was the first beer I bought legally. Around 1968 I was there and learned that it was legal for 18 year olds to buy alcohol, unlike NZ where the age was 21.
There is nothing quite as permanent as a good temporary repair.

That was an option for a night anchorage sailing that coast last year, we went a bit further on to the west to Likuri harbour. That's a tough bit of water.
