Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.

Im surprised they didnt get in a "jugs" gag, as most motorcycle ads of old often used the female form as a way to bring male attention. Guess they swapped the jugs for a ladle.....

I took the cover off my 1959 BMW R26 today. I replaced the 6V battery, put in fresh gas and it started on the third kick!

My older brother gave me this motorcycle in 1973 after he used it while in college to get around. It served me well while I too attended college in Madison WI. This motorcycle has a screaming 15 HP single cylinder engine which got us around safely without getting into trouble!

I love the sound of this simple engine. I can listen to it every day.

My wife continues to remind me that simple things entertain simple minds. As usual, I have to agree.

That is immensely cool - the personal history just makes it.
I'd much rather lay in my bunk all freakin day lookin at Youtube videos .

P.I. This is one I posted about earlier on this thread #731. I came across this bike recently in a local ad and could not resist. It is a 1973 R75/5 with the long wheel base. It has low miles and runs great. I have a friend who has a similar vintage BMW so we enjoy rides and wrench turning.
