The Vic premier is showing signs of the lack of opposition. The Lib's are self destructing over how far right is far enough, the Greens are doing the same over how PC is PC enough, and Dan is just going his way and …………… the lot of you.

Ian, until the LibNats sort themselves out, decide whether they are going to be right or centre, they give a free ride to Labour, and Victoria is the example. Posting that on this mostly American forum is irrelevant.
The danger for the Libs is that the Greens finally get their act together, putting Labour centre right and them centre left.

When Kathy was forced out of her rental in suburban Perth, she was flung into a housing market that is tougher than it has been in decades.Unable to find anywhere to move into, the former hospitality worker quickly found herself among the more than 120,000 Australians estimated to be homeless.
Her stress and anxiety became so great Kathy said she developed asthma and struggled to leave home without her puffer.
Ms Blakeley said another key part of the project was the community support it has received.Everything from labour to batteries to store power generated by solar panels have been donated as locals rallied around the project.
And when residents move in, they'll already have everything they need, from kitchen and bathroom essentials to bedding and furniture, all donated by community groups.

"Because they're women they actually sat down and thought of all the things that a woman would want, so they've just got absolutely everything," Ms Blakeley said while showing Kathy around.
"It is a lovely touch, a really welcoming touch. It's like going into a hotel with a goodie basket on the table," was Kathy's reaction.

I think a modicum of tar and feathering might be quite a good idea for the local heads of these companies, and maybe the sporting heads taking a cut from these activities. A far more effective, and public penalty than fines win a court case kept quiet by most of the press.
Hard to touch internationals however, but their spotters are simpler to find.

What Australians are witnessing in parliament is the ongoing and now escalating consequences of the crisis in leadership with regard to integrity, due process and the rule of law.

Depends on the way you look at it I suppose.

'I own my tramp stamp': Why the lower back tattoo is no longer considered 'trashy'

The tattoo style of the late ’90s and early 2000s has become synonymous with low-rise jeans, visible G-strings and all things Y2K.
But during its heyday, lower back tattoos quickly became associated with implications of "promiscuity" and "trashiness," becoming the butt of many misogynistic jokes.

But as is the case with the ebbs and flows of most fashion trends of the early aughts, tramp stamps have made their way back into the zeitgeist.
This is largely thanks to the notably more progressive and increasingly nostalgic nature of Gen Z. Now, many past trends, previously wrought with sexist connotations, have been reclaimed as empowering statements rather than regrettable markings, say tattoo artists.
