With the whole Ben Roberts Smith saga and especially the support he has gained from powerful places within Australian society i had a thought as I was waiting for my coffee at the local beach coffee shop.
They say cream rises to the top. Ok it does but so does other stuff. Some turds float........ and many 'success stories' are paved with those who were trodden all over by winners in pursuit of success and those winners are often ( not always ) the most effective at the whole process of treading on others. Like minds attract so this might in some ways explain the support Ben Roberts Smith has attained and there seems no shame for those who have been caught up in this saga. There are rarely penalties for this type of rogue behaviour.Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. Leonardo da Vinci.

Morons. But fear not, there will be announcements galore to give the impression that things are being done - things to right wrongs (that only exist because people don't get off their own arse).
Interesting to see Yabsley on the Drum. He was a client 30 years ago - I pulled out of a $40k project that he was Minister for, at $8k in.... because circumstances were such that a result wasn't going to be there.Comment

I'm having a visit to my old winter stomping ground, Falls Creek, vicariously via a dreadful Jacki Chan film
I was working there where it was shot, know all the places, skied around the set, knew many of the extras. Some of the crew stayed in our lodge.Comment
