And is that what we want? Its not like we're running out of land, its just everything is built in the wrong places.
Any data he has is based on several false assumptions, one of which is that would be renters and still living at home.

As an aside, Roberts-Smith has lost his defamation case… Quite a devastating judgement.
10 days in court, maybe $35 million. What now for decorations?

I see the US military isn't happy, they might be concerned about some local blowback.

Roberts Smith at one time said (paraphrase) "We were there to killl bad guys, we did". Howard has a deal to answer for this as we should not have been there. Deputy sheriff indeed.

The implications for Australian defamation law are going to be interesting………...

Given the number of wedding receptions etc they have blown away with drones, it really is a bit rich.

..and the Greens go of half cocked as usual. Allow procedures to take their course.

I've heard many firsthand recollections from people involved in drone operations (and various other operations).

              Many, many.

Several, if not more, of these have been from people with PTSD. It helps (them) to listen to them.

I think you over-state the number of 'bit rich' occurrences - by a significant amount.

I don't believe I've been privy to any inappropriate information - ie tech issues that shouldn't be discussed - but I do have a fairly high level of confidence in the appropriateness of the operations these guys have been involved in.... for example, the operation that turned the strategist behind the Nairobi shopping centre massacre into red mist.

Well, the Vic government has backed down re some private school payroll tax, but the christian schools are still not happy. In that case remove requirement from government schools as well.

And there has been something fishy going on between PWC and the Fed. police. The word 'compromised' comes to mind but it seems so are federal government procedures from using consultants as an ertzatz public service, allowing them to serve two masters with conflicting interests.

Seems to me that the Federal police have to some extent become a partisan arm of Conservative politics as have ASIO with respect to the Timor Govt bugging operation on behalf of Woodside Petroleum

ASIO alway has been……….. chasing trade unionists and jazz musicians while the Ustashi trained in Australia's bush for instance.
One agent long gone was identified and a tune named after him. Whenever he appeared at a band gig he was greeted by name and the tune played.

Not in the slightest condoning the PWC behaviour, but given your frothing at the mouth again, are you suggesting that all public servants be prohibited from taking employment in any field they have worked in? Any politician from even being employed again after leaving/losing office? You guys are like Pavlov's dogs, salivating at anything without considering the issues at hand.

By the way... the PWC incident was 8+ years ago.

.... and still no-one with the courage to view that No case video and pass comment. Are you men, or mice?

Telling her truth helps Lorraine Peeters heal from the trauma of being snatched from her parents as a child and sexually abused while being trained to become a servant for wealthy non-Indigenous families.

Brainwashed, abused, and the whip — if you ever used your own culture," she said while reflecting on the former home's mantra of 'act white, speak white, be white'."I really think it was a genocide of our race."
The institution operated from 1912 to 1969, training girls to become domestic servants. Their small wages would be paid to trust accounts with the Aborigines Protection Welfare Board, under the Aborigines Protection Act 1909-1969."If we wanted anything, that would have to come out of the wages that we earned. But we didn't see the wages, they went right back to head office," Aunty Lorraine said.
"If I wanted more underwear or something that would have taken approval from head office. "
Aunty Lorraine describes Cootamundra Girls Home's blatant assimilation approach as having the "Black belted out of her", but added, the behind-the-scenes abuse was just as horrific.

I wonder if the white European immigrants expected a compliant native population as domestics tugging the forelock and labourers, and never quite got over the push back? Certainly the squatocracy did and there are many that still act that way as the pace of push back finally builds up and gets support..
