        • These are Masina's old rigging screws that I'm using in the balustrade I'm building. Note the toggles. If there's any difference between rigging screws and turnbuckles it may be that rigging screws have a threaded rod that you turn whereas turnbuckles have two threaded rods and a tube nut that you turn.

I'll post some pictures of the balustrade on the Antipodean thread rather than drift JB's thread 😀

Has the look of a very fine restoration there Mike, a lot of time and money spent I would say. No chrome wires for that guy.

I didn't think of a dog house, too cracked up at the thought of getting forkin' 'ell past the Ministry of transport number plate censor.

Always keen to see a snap or two of what you've been up to with the house, so post away.. totally appropriate and most enjoyable.

MGB is the roadster , Mike. MGBGT is the hard roof GT version, as in better for grand touring. The MGB came first , then Pininfarina designed the coupe /GT rear body and roofline. A couple of inches higher screen so you can get in by only moderately smacking your head. Health and safety you know... don't want people bashing their temples and ears so its just the hairline that takes the pain.
