Captains Courageous was a surprise to me. The race back home at the end is great. Also really liked the Hornblower series from a few years back.
Now, Captain Ron is just a lot of fun!

Several of the scenes in Captain's courageous were of actual Grand Bank sailing schooners. The studio bought a schooner for the use of the film. Sterling Hayden later got the schooner from the studio.What's not on a boat costs nothing, weighs nothing, and can't breakComment
