WHY!!



The classic getting a shipmate drunk and he waking up with a tattoo, I can 'sort' of understand, some what like 'initiation' stuff. (Though I dispise the people who do it, like hazing newbees in college.)

But anybody walking into a parlour and asking for a 'tat'.....Not to mention them with body covering works... Attention seekers?

Logicly, what is the difference between a classic fouled anchor and a modern version, if the person wants a tat? At least he will have to explain it in more detail to the un-iniciated.

A Danforth is hardly modern, having been designed 80 years ago.

But, I agree, new or old has nothing to do with getting a tat.
