Not waiting for John Brady to post this, in their wisdom, the Independence Seaport Museum is deaccessioning some of their boats. A fleet of sneakboxes, railbird skiff, a catboat, and a delicious ducker. I can see some reasons, duplication etc. Some are fine John Brady copies of traditional types. Some have me wondering. I'd be dead meat if I dragged another boat home, but I would love to have that catboat!
At least I learned a new word today: deaccessioning.I was born on a wooden boat that I built myself.

Ducker looks like it has a non traditional rig, chainplates etc. Also no way to row it, so clearly meant as a recreational boat. Still would be a nice one.Ben Fuller

The Cricket is enticing.
As I recall these were sailed double handed with a sliding seat for the crew.

Lot #240 Ladies Gig "Mary" is a nice boat. All Spanish Cedar planking. Not as light as she could be but still rows nicely.
Lot #250 Reproduction Garvey Skiff is a good sailing boat with the ketch rig. Looks like both masts are there but might be missing the mainsail and mainsail sprit? A heavily built boat. Carries nicely under sail and the 2 sail rig makes her very handy. Would be a good family boat.Comment
