Sorry dear fellow forumnites, and specailly you, Peter, for this looooong reply to Morwenna's present owner post. It is not really off-topic in this "Woodenboat boatbuilder" post, but certainly not the most entertaining one.

As it happens, I have just received a mail from "The Morwenna" that puts things in a different perspective, for me at least.

Maybe a thread about this boat, her past with me, and then her last twenty years, would be ....well.... we shall see!!!

              Dear Peter, Larks,
This boat still now remains a very painful story for me, and although I may occasionally post a couple of the very few pics I have from that time, I do not really feel like exposing the whole of her story here! To say that she was "lost in a divorce" is a very elegant way to describe a pure, flat robbery and abuse of confidence by a #%^*)#& bitch! May she suffer till her last breath and burn in hell forever!

levelling the new arch board, counter block, & the whole boat pulled back into shape after 20 years, the correct sheer, beam, tumblehome, with a water level, laser, plumbobs, no one else can do this for you, you have to do it yourself, while you have 3'000 other construction details on your mind

Lucky that's what happen when you break the only rule I keep with my boats. NEVER go back on a boat that you have sold, it's always deception as it's not like you want/or see it. I did this mistake once, and now even when I am invited on one of my old boat I decline, it always open a old scar.
