Do you think a center console would work on the whisp?

I have a Whisp. No, it would not work. Image putting a center console in a canoe. You'll need a design with more beam, stability, and room to move around in.-Dave -

The Whisp was designed solely for rowing/sailing with perhaps a small electric outboard when the wind dies or your arms tire.
Don't try to make the boat something it is not.
Ask around in the design section for more suitable center console boats.I was born on a wooden boat that I built myself.
Skiing is the next best thing to having wings.Comment

I agree with the above, that design is too narrow, shallow and light. I'm sure there are plenty of good designs to fit your needs.Comment
