I'm starting to mount the solar panels on the (extended) cabin roof. To prevent overheating of the panels which would stall the electric yield I will use small plastic tubes to create an air gap between the panels and the (thermal insulated) roof.

The small tubes had too much curvature so I put them in a larger tube with hot water and after that in a stack of Alu-L-profile to cool down in a straight line. After this treatment there remains a rest of curvature which is fitting the radius of the cabin roof. I did a template for even spacing and glued the grid of small tubes on the roof.
