    Rubrail for expedition Wherry.

I’ve been trying for about a month to find a suitable rubrail for my latest build. Finally found something I liked, but they only have 20’ of it in stock and don’t know when/if they will get any more.

Anybody know of another source for this?

Keep your boat looking good, protected and sealed with boat molding from Great Lakes Skipper. Find boat rub rail kits and much more. Limited quantities.

Luis has some....interesting.....methods, but wouldn't something wood be cooler?

Admittedly wood is pretty. On a boat that spends 4 months on the water and 8 months in storage waiting for a thaw out it’s fine.
Around here it’s a royal PITA.
It gets rough at our dock as well, so protection is what’s needed. Aesthetics are a consideration, but function is primary.

        Substance over style? So sad.....

My boat lives in the water too, I get it. A bunch of her brightwork just got sanded and painted. The well protected cockpit stayed bright but just about everything else is now painted.

Pretty sure that is a Taco product. They don’t show it with a rope insert that I found in a quick look. Go to:

www.tacomarine.com and click on Products, then Rail then Flexible vinyl

Widely distributed, and when you get the Taco part number you can widen your search
