Rubrail for expedition Wherry.
I’ve been trying for about a month to find a suitable rubrail for my latest build. Finally found something I liked, but they only have 20’ of it in stock and don’t know when/if they will get any more.
Anybody know of another source for this?

Re: Rubrail for expedition Wherry.
Admittedly wood is pretty. On a boat that spends 4 months on the water and 8 months in storage waiting for a thaw out it’s fine.
Around here it’s a royal PITA.
It gets rough at our dock as well, so protection is what’s needed. Aesthetics are a consideration, but function is primary.Fight Entropy, build a wooden boat!Comment

Substance over style? So sad.....
My boat lives in the water too, I get it. A bunch of her brightwork just got sanded and painted. The well protected cockpit stayed bright but just about everything else is now painted.Steve
If you would have a good boat, be a good guy when you build her - honest, careful, patient, strong.

Pretty sure that is a Taco product. They don’t show it with a rope insert that I found in a quick look. Go to:
www.tacomarine.com and click on Products, then Rail then Flexible vinyl
Widely distributed, and when you get the Taco part number you can widen your searchComment
