Default A young man's extended dream

One of the people welcoming us to Bass River was Sam Lawrence, a member of a good sailing family what with cousins and uncles and father and all afloat in cats, sloops, yawls and ketches and very dab hands, every one.

Sam’s 15 year old (a 15 year old at 6’!) imagination was fired by the three odd Wianno Seniors. So he did a little piece for the Berkshire Wooden Boat page. BWB is a business that likes to make their pages open to interested parties, rather as our hosts do here. So if you want, check http://www.berkshirewoodenboat.net/new_page_4.htm

If that doesn’t get right there, stop at .net, click on “We Speak Wianno” and then the “extended cabin “ tab.

It may be that the Sanford Alerion they restored was the one at the WBS in Mystic.
“So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.”
