Actually, I have now received the "plans" for a tender I intend to build with glued lapstreak method. The problem is I have spent a lifetime building institutional buildings with the plans furnished by architects. "Put the wall just here, built it this high out of this material and DO NOT scale the prints." Typically very good plans done up by professionals. Now comes the so called plans of my yacht tender...make it look like this...scale the "picture"...that's it. They even have told me that I'm licensed to build only one boat from their picture. I'll build the damn thing but I have to make up a set of plans and then I'll consider the plans my own to do with as I please.
