Try to get hold of a paint stripper made by an outfit called "CHEMSEARCH". Take the time to wade thru their website and find an "800" phone number, www.chemsearch.com they've got a commercial grade (really) stripper that is water soluable and hotter than hell. It works great. Finding a distributor that will sell it to you might be a little tricky. Good luck.
There was a company at the WoodenBoat Show called Star 10 (http://www.starten.com). Anyone know anything about them? Their miracle goop promised Amazing Results in One Third the Time, plus it was Environmentally Safe. In other words, it looked Too Good To Be True. On the other hand, the examples they showed were indeed impressive. The people were nice too, not that that should count toward product efficacy.
Anyone?

I just tried a test kit of Star-Ten. Does a quick and thorough job. They will send a test kit of generous quantity and variety. I plan on using it on a CC runabout.
I misunderstood the topic, I thought you were looking for a foredeck ornament.
