    Default engine and transmission swap

    Hello,

I am pulling my engine and transmission (Mercedes OM636 36hp 4cyl. with transmission) and replacing it with an identical engine but the new transmission is hydraulic. This means its smaller and will go in diffently as there is a pump and a motor.

Anyone out there done this before or familiar with what I will need to build or make to mount the transmission?

    Thanks,

    Greg

    hard to say without pics

As an aside, why are you going with the tranny swap? Im in the midst of a rebuild myself and have considered a few power choices.
