    Default iPhone Tides

There is a new tide app for iphones called "Aye Tide". This one is $15 but a bit better than the free one called "Tides" (which crashes my iphone occasionally). Aye Tides has a graphic chart, can be set for any date or scroll thru days, and it is fully resident so doesn't need an internect connection to use. I balked at the $15 at first but now I think it is worth it. (No, I'm not connected with them.)

Yes, but as I mentioned above , the free one doesn't have a graphic chart, you are limited to seeing only a couple of current days, and it requires an internet connection so doesn't work when you are out of cell phone service areas. Plus it crashed my iphone several times. Aye Tide lets you see tides for ANY date, not just today and tomorrow.

I like that because it uses the signal it gives you accurate LOCAL tides and it updates as you move.

I have the free one too. My point is simply that for the cost of a couple of cheeseburgers, you can have one that does a lot more.

Okay, I got clinometer. That is really impressive. Useful too. Thanks for the "tip".
