    Default At the boat shop

Laura Ellen has been moved out of the shop to help bring the moisture level up in the planking. This is the first time Laura Ellen has been outside in 2 years.

While I was at the marina I took a walk around to look at some other boats.

She will be back in the shop some time this coming week. The week after I hope to start with the caulking.
Laura Ellen was blocking some other boats that were at the back of the shop that needed to get pulled out this week.

Is it just me or does the sheer have a hump in it just above the middle and forward brace on the craddle? And where is all that sun coming from?

Just a weird camera angle. There is no hump.

I love hanging out at the boat shop. If I was independently wealthy I would own a boat shop just so I could hang around and shoot the bull with other people who like to hang around boat shops (I'm not kidding. I told my wife this years ago). Only problem with it, the guys who run the shop where my boats get worked on don't want me or anyone else hanging around. It's just a two man shop and they can't get anything done if you're always hanging around there.

I love boats and boat shops. Oh, beautiful boat there Allan. Can't wait to see how she looks on the other side of her makeover.

Ah,what a relief to know it was the durned camera angle.I can't wait to see her all freshly painted! What a looker I'll bet she is. Knowing too that all the bad planks are out of her must be an incredible weight off your thoughts Allan. Please send some of that thar "artificial lighting" down stream will ya,we sure could use some here tomorrow
